Tim is a member of both the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the California Society of Certified Public Accountants, and has experience with a wide range of industries—manufacturing and distribution, professional and medical services, real estate, sports and entertainment.
As a former professional baseball player, Tim knows what it takes to be the best of the best and brings that work ethic to the office every day. His background includes a Master’s Degree in Taxation and becoming the youngest person promoted to partner in BDO Seidman’s history. Prior to launching RPG, Mr. Pettit contributed six years of service to BDO where he served as a national instructor in the firm’s continuing professional education program and on multiple national industry groups including Distributors, Bankruptcies, Insolvencies and Workouts and Strategic Committee on Image and Culture. Tim is a member of the Society of Trust and Estate Practitioners, the Association of Professional Ball Players of America, Treasurer of the Tuna Club of Avalon and sits on various boards and advisory committees.
